• 300 DPI recommended

Artwork Setup

• File must be supplied as a PNG
• Background must be fully transparent
• Upload artwork at final print size whenever possible
• Gang multiple designs onto a single artboard to maximize transfer space
• Transfers will be trimmed to the ordered size

Transparency Requirements

• Transparent backgrounds are required
• Do not include unwanted background colors or white boxes behind artwork
• White areas intended to print should remain visible in the design

Design Limitations

• Minimum recommended detail size is 0.02" (0.5 mm)
• Extremely thin lines or fine details may not transfer properly
• Maintain adequate spacing between design elements

Gang Sheet Tip

• Combine multiple designs on a single artboard to maximize value
• You may repeat the same design multiple times or combine different graphics
• Maintain adequate spacing between designs for trimming and handling
• Using more of the available sheet space can significantly reduce the cost per transfer
• Gang sheets are ideal for businesses, schools, team apparel, and promotional products

Heat Press Application

General starting recommendations:

• Pre-press garment for 5–10 seconds to remove moisture
• Apply transfer using medium to firm pressure
• Press according to garment type and heat press manufacturer recommendations
• Allow transfer to cool completely before peeling
• Perform a final post-press using parchment paper or Teflon for best results

File Preparation

• Remove all backgrounds
• Verify artwork size before uploading
• Ensure transparent PNG exports correctly
• Check image resolution before submission

Note:

DTF transfers are supplied ready for application. A heat press is required to permanently apply transfers to garments and other fabric products.
