What Three Year Olds Learn
Ages 36–48 months
Three-year-olds are full of questions — and our curriculum gives them answers worth discovering.
This is the year curiosity turns into real learning. Lessons are structured but still playful, channeling that "why?" energy into skills that prepare children for Pre-K and beyond.
Literacy & Language
Letter recognition, phonemic awareness, and early writing skills. Daily read-alouds build comprehension, vocabulary, and a love of books.
Math Concepts
Counting with meaning, number recognition, shapes, patterns, and early problem-solving. Math becomes something they do — not just memorize.
Science & Discovery
Hands-on exploration of nature, weather, animals, and how things work. We feed the curiosity instead of talking over it.
Social-Emotional Development
Managing emotions, resolving conflicts, building friendships, and developing empathy. Three-year-olds feel big feelings — we give them tools to navigate them.
Fine & Gross Motor
Cutting, tracing, and drawing for fine motor control. Running, balancing, and climbing for coordination and strength.
Independence & Routine
Following multi-step directions, classroom responsibilities, and self-help skills that build confidence and kindergarten readiness.
